My legal training in advocacy and collaborative law enables me to work in the broadest sense possible within the cancer community here and nationally.
My firm regularly sponsor events run by the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation, such as their annual Night of Lights Ball and Mother’s Day Lunch. The firm also donates to the Humour Foundation who put Clown Doctors in both adult and children’s hospitals around Australia. I am also involved with the following non-profit, community and professional associations:
- Co-founder of the Michael Rice Foundation, supporting children and young adults living with cancer and blood disorders
- Chair of the Parents Advisory Group of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Department of Haematology and Oncology
- Consumer Representative on the Department of Haematology and Oncology’s Departmental Committee
- Consumer Representative of the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology Oncology Group on a National Consumers’ Clinical Trials Network
- Co-organiser of Haematology and Oncology Kids (HONKS), a fundraising
group for children with cancer, where all money goes direct to the Department at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital - Consumer Representative on the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology and Oncology Group
